Initiative for the Instruction of Young Women1 Begum sahiba will spend all proceeds from the sale of this travelogue
On the beneficial effort that she has prepared for The Instruction of Young Women
* * *
Girls today are being washed away by the relentless flood of the West, which is destroying their Eastern particularities, the true cause of which is that they are being given the wrong form of education. This incorrect form of education has not only placed their lives in danger but has darkened India’s future as well. Sensing the destruction of the country and its daughters, Begum sahiba Nawab Sarbuland Jung has designed a tremendously beneficial initiative for the education and training of young girls. The initiative aims to open training centers for girls both in Delhi and outside of Delhi that will be able to give the girls not just a higher education but also teach them skills that will free them from ever having to worry about their own subsistence. These learning centers will also imbue the girls with proper morals and human kindness. This important initiative cannot be successfully achieved until the people of the country prove themselves willing to cooperate with Begum sahiba in the realization [of this project]. To provide financial support for these training centers, Begum sahiba has committed all the income from the sale of this travelogue for the benefit of these women’s schools. All those who wish to support girls’ education should offer their encouragement to Begum sahiba by assisting in the distribution of this travelogue, and all those who are interested in the important matter of girls’ education should send a card to this address to request [information] about this initiative to provide training and instruction to girls: Begum sahiba Nawab Sarbuland Jung, Daryaganj, Delhi.
