IRVING YUCHENG LO is Professor of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Indiana University. His major publications include a monograph on the Sung lyric poet Hsin Ch’i-chi and Sunflower Splendor: Three Thousand Years of Chinese Poetry which he coedited with Wuchi Liu.

WILLIAM SCHULTZ is Professor of Oriental Studies at the University of Arizona and author of various articles on Chinese literature and history. He has also edited numerous books on Chinese literature.
